I actually am so confused about this one which is kinda funny because I love trees.
They don’t move? They grow Leaf[ves]?
They have Bark?
They need SunLight, Dirt, and Water # to grow?
It seems like there are a lot on inconsistent references to trees.

Tree/trees is also slang for pot.
I might have figured it out. Trees might just be a way to refer to the subgroup in the IC that uses pot as their drug of choice. Similar to Bottles, Sweaters, Fry[ies] and Straws

Trees are smaller than mountains but are still relatively tall. have green up top and brown base. These are not rules just Color theory/associations I noticed that people might be taking advantage of in their metaphor.
