I put this in the inbox a while ago so I’m not exactly sure what I meant by this but in polyamory wranglers are folks who enter into a poly dynamic with the intent of “wrangling” one of the members of the polycule back into monogamy. It’s kind of a joke but it is a joke because it happens.
I could in the surveillance context guess this was similar to poaching in the business world, or trying to steal a business’ labor for your own business.
