I mention this elsewhere but there is this tier system for metals where it seems like gold is the highest law so federal in america but there are likely reminiscent structures elsewhere. Silver seems to be police, or state police or clergy, and bronze seems so be lower law enforcement or informants or community figures without governmental or religious authority. Besides that people seem to be referred to as earth or clay.
