An echo is a memory that you interpret differently as you recall it with new information, often latent information provided in a Que that elicits the memory. And sometime the latent information will contain new information that provides a new perspective with which to interpret the memory or scenario.
If you and I had a memorable interaction years ago and someone else reminds me of that interaction but provides it in a new context, adds info, or frames it in a new perspective, that is an echo.
