You are being manipulated and this is the language the manipulators use. Ignorance is bliss but it would behoove you to understand what they are saying.
If you don’t believe it, apply the key to the lyrics of your favorite song and see if there is not a double entendre or three. This applies to most mainstream media or scripted content, I see it in movies, tv, and social media content as well.
